The Techman Veruta XII Machine Gun (called the Regular Machinegun in the patch notes) is a fully automatic machine gun that occupies the special weapon slot. It is a rundown specific weapon and was released in Rundown 002.
Description[]
The Veruta XII is equipped with a 60-round magazine, a circular holographic scope, and a wide range flashlight able of shining up to ~16 meters in front. This weapon is built to cut the wave.
It can be used as a strong alternative to the Heavy Assault Rifle if a player can handle the high recoil. It excels at taking down big groups of any Strikers and Chargers that rush towards the player if the player is prepared. If the player is caught in the middle of a reload they might get themselves in a dangerous situation. It loses its strength when trying to kill any larger enemies like Big Strikers and Big Chargers because a group of them will easily force the player to empty their magazine, which may be fatal as they close the distance during this weapon's very long reload.

Tips[]
- Due to the high recoil on this weapon, it can be worthwhile to hip fire often. The hip-fire accuracy is higher than one would expect.
- Avoid reloading unless you are in a safe position. And when reloading, (just like most weapons), the reload animation can be cancelled by switching to another weapon and immediately switching back when the ammo count resets (in the Veruta's case, when the magazine is inserted). This can be very useful to save a precious second or two when action is needed fast.
