Rundown 8.0: Duality was released on December 8, 2023 at 04:00 AM CET. It was added as the final rundown of GTFO for the perceivable future.
The goal of this rundown is to escape the complex and find somewhere safe for the prisoners and John Schaeffer to live in as we are helped by The Warden, however this rundown is divided in two story lines, with the first following the ALT:// prisoners and the sane Schaeffer, and the second following the original prisoners and the Schaeffer that appeared in the original rundowns and Rundown 7. With the first story line the prisoners slowly see a reactor meltdown its occurring through all the levels as we pick up the MWP in A1, pick up Data Cubes in B1, format the data on them on B2 and choose a clean universe inputting the coordinates of it in the data cubes on C1; in this level we hear another team also helping us. In D1 Schaeffer schedules a meeting, but doesn't show up instead telling us he's with the other team. In E1 we give that team the ddata cubes and die on a final stand. In the second story line we see the original prisoners and the original Schaeffer as he decides to provoke that reactor meltdown, so we drain the cooling tanks in A2. We see schaeffer killed Henriksson in B3 and we open bulkhead security doors. In B4 the prisoners defy Schaeffer and help the other team, and in C2 they disconnect themselves from the BIOCOM mental control chips. In D2 both Schaeffers die, so we betray the ALT:// team taking the MWP. In E2 they transport to another dimension, leaving the other team to die. It is unknown what happens after.
