R8E2 is the second E-Tier and final expedition in Rundown 8.0, and the final expedition in GTFO, overall.
This level has an unique mechanic. As soon as the level starts, a 1 minute countdown will begin. This countdown can be increased with every Terminal in the level using the command ADMIN_TEMP_OVERRIDE
except for the Terminals in the Secondary Objective Sector (although entering the Reactor will grant an additional 22 minutes) and the one in KDS Deep. When the countdown ends, a Nightmare Surge will begin.

Main: Process Item
- Start in Zone 490, the ultimate goal is to transport the Matter Wave Projector with you to Zone 497.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 5 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 491
- This zone contains 1 Mother, 1 Charger Scout, 1 Zoomer Scout and 1 Scout.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 5 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 492 (Respawn Zone)
- This zone contains 1 Mother, 1 Tank and 3 Charger Scouts.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 5 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 493. Input the command
BYPASS_Z494
to unlock the passage to Zone 494.- This zone contains 1 Tank, 1 Charger Scout, 4 Zoomer Scouts and 1 Scout.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 5 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 494 (Respawn Zone)
- This zone contains 2 Mothers, 1 Shadow Scout, 1 Zoomer Scout and 2 Scouts.
- Grab a Power Cell in the zone and insert it to a Generator to unlock the door to Zone 495 [CLASS VI ALARM].
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 9 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 495
- This zone contains 1 Tank, 3 Charger Scouts and 1 Nightmare Scout.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 8 extra minutes.
- Collect the Bulkhead Key and plug it in the Bulkhead DC to access the
Secondary Objective.
- The door to Zone 498 has a CLASS VI ALARM. Additionally, a Big Mother will spawn when the alarm is completed.
- Move to Zone 496
- This zone contains several resources but no enemies.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 3 extra minutes.
- Move to Zone 498
- This zone contains only Shadows and Big Shadows.
- The Terminal in the zone will grant 10 extra minutes.
- The door to Zone 499 has a CLASS VI ALARM that will spawn Shadows and Big Shadows.
- Move to Zone 499 and input the command
MAIN_WASTE_FLUSH
. By this point and withSecondary Objective done, it'll be the last Terminal with the
ADMIN_TEMP_OVERRIDE
command. - Move to Zone 497. (KDS Deep) Communicate with the other team with the HearSay Terminal, grab the Data Cubes and plug the Matter Wave Projector into the platform.
- Once the MWP is plugged in, a CLASS III ALARM will start similar to the one in R8C2:
- First Scan: In the lower floor.
- Second Scan: In the Transportation Gate.
- This will spawn 2 Snatchers
- Third Scan: A small quick scan in the middle of the Transportation Gate.
- Once the MWP is plugged in, a CLASS III ALARM will start similar to the one in R8C2:

Secondary: Reactor Startup
- Advance through Zone 617.
- Enter Zone 618 and use the Reactor Terminal to begin the Startup Sequence.
- Entering the zone will grant 22 extra minutes.
- There will differing waves of enemies during each of the 3 Reactor Sequences:
- Wave 1: Strikers, Shooters, Giants, Flyers and Big Shadows.
- Code found inside Zone 619.
- This zone contains 1 Tank, 1 Zoomer Scout and 3 Corrupt Scans.
- The lights will turn on/off every 18 seconds, making the Corrupt Scans appear/disappear accordingly.
- The first when touched will teleport the team to an Destination arena where Nightmare Strikers and Nightmare Shooters will spawn.
- The second and third will spawn a Tank.
- Code found inside Zone 619.
- Wave 2: Strikers, Shooters, Giants, Flyers and 1 Tank.
- Wave 3: Nightmare Strikers, Nightmare Shooters, Big Shadows and 3 Tanks.
- Code found inside Zone 621.
- The Terminal is to the left of the door, so it doesn't need to be explored.
- This zone contains 2 Mothers, 2 Shadow Scouts, several Shadows and several Corrupt Scans.
- Code found inside Zone 621.
- Wave 1: Strikers, Shooters, Giants, Flyers and Big Shadows.
- Finish the Reactor Sequence and go back to the
Main Objective.
